The Green Wave

Tulane University has a long history in the sport (by local
standards) dating back to the 1970's.

During the 1970's, the school was one of the dominant
teams in the old one-division SWLA. When the SWLA
split into college and club divisions in 1982, the school
remained a league powerhouse.

Tulane moved to the SWLA Club Division in 1986, remaining
there until 1989. For several years, Tulane competed as
an independant until the GCLA came along in 1996.

Tulane captured the very first GCLA Championship by
defeating NOLC 12-11 and Houston-Metro 8-5 in 1996.

Having left the GCLA in 1997 and 1998, Tulane will
once again compete for the GCLA title in 1999.
