The Story Behind the Club
The Bayou City Sidewinders are the result of a merger
between two teams, the Lone Star LC and the Houston Express.
The Lone Star LC began play in 1998, while the Express was
formed a year later. Both have competed in the GCLA
since their inceptions, with the Express making it
to the 1999 GCLA semifinals in Houston.
